Makkah: As millions of worshippers gather at the Grand Mosque in Mecca during Ramadan, the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has launched dedicated childcare centers offering 24/7 care and educational programs.
Designed for children aged 1.5 to 9 years, these centers provide a safe space for learning and personal growth while families perform religious rituals. Activities include Quran lessons, educational storytelling, and creative workshops tailored to different age groups, fostering values of service and community support.
Supervised by childhood development specialists, the centers ensure a structured yet nurturing environment. They also provide meals, educational videos, and designated areas for rest, creating a comprehensive care experience for young visitors.
